Apollo 11 was the spaceflight that first landed humans on the Moon. Commander Neil Armstrong and lunar module pilot Buzz Aldrin formed the American crew that landed the Apollo Lunar Module Eagle on July 20, 1969. It has since been 50 years since this moon landing and this coin goes to commemorate the effort it took us to explore past our tiny blue planet. Many might still remember watching the moon landing live on the television with their family around them.
